انکوباتورشیکردار جهت کشت و رویش باکتریها و همزمان شیک کردن نمونه جهت حل کردن بعضی از مواد و مخلوط کردن و یا اکسیژن دهی در موارد کشت میکروبی مایع، که قدرت تکثیر باکتری را در زمان کوتاه بالا ببرد مورد استفاده قرار میگیرد.

از قرار دادن انکوباتور شیکر در نـــزدیـــک درهـــای اصــلــی یــا جــریــانــات هــوا و هواکش‌ها خودداری شود.

از گذاشتن مواد فرار یا قـــابـــل اشــتــعــال (اتــر،بـنــزیــن، الـکــل ، پــروپــان) داخل انکوباتور پرهیز شود.
