کوره الکتریکی یا کوره آزمایشگاهی دستگاهی است که دارای محفظه ای کاملا عایق شده با آجر نسوز و سیمان نسوز و پنبه نسوز می باشد. این محفظه توسط المنت های قوی در اطراف ویا سقف دستگاه ، دمایی بالا تا حدود ۱۱۰۰ درجه سانتی گراد و یا 1500 درجه سانتی گراد ایجاد کرده که جهت ذوب برخی مواد و نیز گرفتن خاکستر برخی دیگر از مواد کاربرد دارد. مجهز به ترموستات وترمومتر دیجیتال بوده و قابلیت نصب تایمر دیجیتال را نیز دارا می باشد. جنس بدنه خارجی از ورق روغنی با پوشش رنگ الکترواستاتیک می باشد. دقت نمایشگر در محدوده دمایی ۲۰۰ تا 1500 درجه سانتی گراد حدود ۱۰ الی ۱۵ درجه می باشد.
